Dave Bradshaw spent more than 24 years in pastoral ministry before joining The Anchorage, where he now serves as Camp Director. His connection to the camp began in the spring of 1999, and he has faithfully served on the Board of Directors since 2007. Dave holds both a BA and MA from Bob Jones University. He is married to Raquel (Ferguson) Bradshaw, also a graduate of Bob Jones University. They have four children and three wonderful grandchildren. Their family has been deeply involved in nearly every facet of camp life—serving as seasonal staff, volunteering in multiple programs, and offering trusted guidance throughout the camp’s operations. Raquel currently serves as Office Manager, keeping the many moving parts of camp life organized and running smoothly.

David and Jeannie Ulrich have been serving at The Anchorage for more than 40 years. David’s recent retirement has allowed him to step back from the day-to-day operations of camp events and devote more of his time to fundraising and offering wisdom to the new leadership team. As he shared, “It has been my great privilege to be involved long enough to see many lives changed and new families forged during my time at The Anchorage.” Jeannie continues to oversee food preparation and service, while also faithfully serving as pianist for much of the program.

Thad Berrey is excited to be joining the ministry at The Anchorage camp as Program Director. Thad and his wife, Chaya, have been married since 2005, and they have eight daughters: Karis, Alana, Eden & Shonna, Ani Rose, Faith, Haven, and Selah. Thad graduated from Bob Jones University with his M.Div., and has been serving at Calvary Baptist Church in Hampton, GA, for the last 20 years (5 years as youth pastor and 15 as the senior pastor). Calvary Baptist Church was “home” and “family” and it was very difficult to leave, but after much prayer and counsel, believing this step to be God’s will, Thad is currently in the process of moving to NC. Thad has always had a special place in his heart for The Anchorage Camp, since he worked here as a counselor during college, and he has stayed connected over the years, bringing campers from Calvary and attending pastors’ retreats. Thad’s summer working as a counselor made a long-term impact in his heart and life as he saw God working both in him and through him. He has been bringing campers to camp ever since because he has seen the difference that a week of camp that is focused on God and His Word can make in a young person's life. He brings a passion to help believers practically apply God’s Word in their lives, to train young men and women to reach others, and to see people of all ages grow spiritually…taking the next spiritual step.

Dakota and Kristina Ross began working full-time at The Anchorage in January 2022. Both are graduates of Bob Jones University. Dakota serves as the Facility Maintenance Manager, overseeing day-to-day projects that keep the camp operating smoothly. Kristina is now a full-time mom to their two sweet children and helps with various projects whenever she’s able. Having served a combined total of 11 summers prior to joining the full-time staff, both Dakota and Kristina have developed a deep love for the camp and look forward to many more years of service ahead.
