Pastor Marshall Fant IV was born in Anderson, South Carolina and moved with his family to Rock Hill in 1996 where his father pastored Harvest Baptist Church. Marshall grew up in a ministry home as the second oldest of five children. After serving a summer as a Christian camp counselor (where he and Jenna met), he recognized God's call on his life to serve in full-time ministry. He graduated from Bob Jones University 2007 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Bible. Marshall and Jenna were married the following December and lived in Greenville. While in graduate school, he worked as a residence hall administrator and student life counselor. He went on to earn a Master of Arts degree in Bible in 2009. In the spring of 2009, Marshall moved back to Rock Hill to take a position as an Associate Pastor at Harvest Baptist Church. While working at the church, he finished his Master of Divinity Degree from Calvary Baptist Seminary in 2014. He now serves as the Senior Pastor of Harvest Baptist and has since 2017. The Fants have four children.

Jenna Nelson Fant was born in the Philippines. At a young age, she moved with her family first to Colorado, then to West Virginia where she spent most of her years growing up. She was saved at a young age and grew up in a ministry home as well. She attended Bob Jones University and received her undergraduate and master’s degrees in English. While attending school, she, too, spent several summers at the Wilds as a Christian camp counselor. Soon after she met and married Marshall, the Lord blessed them with four children. Now she spends most of her time mothering, homeschooling, volunteering at their local church in various capacities, freelance editing, and spending time building friendships with neighbors and friends in the church and community.
